In a world that is becoming more chaotic by the day, I wanted to create a place where I could recount the beauty and good I see around me.  Focusing on the positive helps our perspective to shift and our attitudes to improve.

Today is election day in the United States. This election seems to have been more polarized than any I can remember.  Tensions are running high, friendships have been hurt, families torn.

I saw a quote on Facebook the other day and it really resonated with me.  It said:

I love this idea, that no matter what happens with the election today, we will still have our families, friends and neighbors around us.  They are the ones we will turn to when we need help.  But we must be kind and loving.  It's ok to disagree!!  It's ok to have different opinions!!  And it's a commandment to love our neighbors!  Let's choose to be loving and compassionate!

We are the ones in control of that!
